NC2 Overview

The AIDA® NC series single and double crank gap frame presses are probably the most imitated stamping presses in production today. Why? Because they work hard day in and day out. This is a result of superior engineering and components drawn from our industry-leading PMX straight-side presses, things cosmetic imitations simply lack. It begins with a welded steel frame, cast iron slide, and a cast steel bolster to provide angular deflection at least 30% less than any other manufacturer for increased accuracy and die life. Add HOLP, the worlds’ fastest hydraulic overload protection system ... a standard wet clutch ... precision cut gears with hardened and ground pinions ... motorized slide adjustment … and the result is a press that delivers outstanding performance and unmatched reliability. AIDA NC gap-frame presses routinely perform progressive and transfer press die work normally reserved for straight-side presses, at a substantial savings.
